Knight Frank Expands into South America
Newmark Knight Frankhas expanded its presence with the opening of offices in the growing South American market.
The South American operation is headquartered in São Paulo and has offices in Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Santiago, Chile. Newmark Knight Frank has the capability to provide service throughout all of South America, and will open additional offices throughout the continent in 2007.
Edward A. Friedman, Executive Vice President and Principal, Global Brokerage and Advisory Services for Newmark Knight Frank, announced that the company has hired Sergio R. J. Negro as Managing Principal to oversee its multi-market operation in South America. Negro’s corporate services, leasing and investment teams have extensive experience advising tenants, owners and developers throughout the South American continent.
